MASSAGE THERAPY SERVICES
Massage therapy is used for relaxation or systemic relief of aches and pains. Treatments are known to reduce stress, decreasing muscle pain and stiffness, and for aiding in rehabilitation and postural realignment.
Massage therapists use a variety of techniques that, along with prescribed client self care, help to facilitate improved health and well being.
Please discuss with your therapist the desired results of your session. All therapists are Registered Massage Therapists.
CRANIAL THERAPY
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment that may provide relief from a variety of symptoms including headaches and neck pain. It uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of fluids in and around the central nervous system. Babies born with flat head syndrom or latching issues have responded well to this treatment.
PRENATAL MASSAGE THERAPY
PRE-NATAL and PERI-NATAL Massage are an important part of every woman's pregnancy self-care. We do all pre-natal massages on a specialized pregnacy massage table.
INDIE HEAD MASSAGE
The is a scalp massage where oil is applied to the scalp and hair. It is a heighly relaxing experience.
THERMAL PALMS
This treatment is similar to hot stone massage therapy but it can glide over your bones unlike stone massage. It decreases muscle tension and increases circulation.
SEATED MASSAGE THERAPY
A massage performed in a specifically designed chair. It can be done over clothing without any oil; so it can be great for business visits and special events.
CUPPING MASSAGE
Traditional Cupping Massage is where the therapist puts special cups on your skin to create suction.
INFRARED BLANKET
Infrared saunas relax your body, assist in relieving physical fatigue, increase body circulation and helping to get rid of body toxins and metabolic waste.

How do I undress, Do I remove all of my clothes?Your comfort is what is important. You should only undress to where you are comfortable. Some people choose to undress completely. Some people choose to wear underwear while some people choose to remain mostly or fully clothed. Your massage therapist will give you privacy to undress and you will be covered with a sheet and blanket at all times except the area being worked on. It is your choice and the therapist will accommodate your comfort level at all times. Even if your comfort level changes during the treatment.
-
How often should I get a massage? Some people think that one treatment is enough. Often massage therapy is more beneficial when treating new injuries over a series of massages and then followed up with maintenance or preventative treatments. Your Massage Therapist can discuss with you what is best for you and always leaving the decision in your hands.
-
What takes place on my first visit? You will be asked to complete a case history form. This allows the therapist to understand your health and reason for seeking massage therapy. They will clearly understand your conditions. They will then discuss the massage treatment plan. If you're comfortable with everything discussed they will then instruct you on how to get onto the table.
-
Can seniors get a massage?Yes, Massage is safe for seniors. The treatments are performed and modifications are made in the massage on a very individuals basis. For example, lighter pressure, shorter treatments or seated in a chair.
-
